Our parent company began in the industrial equipment business in
South Melbourne over 80 years ago. The Gentech brand was established in 1989 and now has a high profile throughout Australasia. Our head office, sales department and manufacturing plant have been based in South Kingsville, a Western suburb of Melbourne for the past eight years. In total the expanse of our premises including all interstate branches is 7740 square metres. These premises house 40 employees nationally to manufacture, sell and service the Gentech product.
Gentech specialise in the design and manufacture of portable Petrol and Diesel engine powered generating sets and larger Standby Diesel generating sets. Our name Gentech Generators is represented by the slogan “Power You Can Trust”. We believe you can trust Gentech because of our commitment and experience and because we use the highly recommended and reliable Honda Engines and quality European made N.S.M alternators that boast the cleanest power around.
In addition to this, the Gentech range incorporates water pumping products. These pumps are powered by the reliable Honda petrol engine. We have models suitable for fire fighting, water transfer, trash pumps and we also have pressure cleaners.
To support the Gentech product in the field for sales, spare parts or service, Gentech have over 400 dealers nationally so there is bound to be one near you. In addition to this our three interstate branch offices and warehouse facilities in NSW, WA and QLD, we can support the product and our dealers and customers efficiently and effectively. We also have representation in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
